Sword (ISSN 1752-1653) is the new title of Prophecy Today INTERNATIONAL, a bimonthly magazine, published in the UK by Present Day Publishing, Ltd.

The new title is our way of saying that, over the past two years, Prophecy Today INTERNATIONAL has undergone radical change. It is now a new magazine for a new day.

Although we still stand firmly on the 'unchanging Word of God', the emphasis is now on teaching – to build the faith of God's people to meet the unprecedented challenges to the Christian faith in the western world. From its earliest days, this ministry has sought to be sensitive to God's leading – and ownership. Our writers all share a prophetic edge to their various ministries, but we believe firmly that the nations need a prophetic church far more urgently than they need a prophetic magazine. It is as a contribution to this that SWORD is published as the successor magazine to Prophecy Today INTERNATIONAL.
